Supporting spinal health
This personal care is why people throughout the Madison County area come to Regenerative Health and Chiropractic.
Dr. Christina Darin was introduced to chiropractic at age 17 after developing mid-back pain following several car accidents. Several visits to the medical doctor later, she was given muscle relaxers and pain pills (even back then she did not like taking pills). After being dismissed as having pulled a muscle she decided to seek care elsewhere, the local chiropractor. After only two visits to the chiropractor she began to see results. Dr. Darin liked the idea of healing the body without the use of drugs or surgery. Here the dream of being a Chiropractor was born.Dr. Darin grew up in the small town Lenzburg, Illinois. She attended Marissa High School and graduated early. After high school, Dr. Darin attended undergraduate classes at Southwestern Illinois College and Logan College of Chiropractic where she learned an extensive amount about the human body, chemistry, physiology, and other general health topics.Dr. Darin took a year off from her undergraduate studies to attend Missouri College and complete a Massage Therapy certification program. She continued by enrolling into the doctorate program at Logan College of Chiropractic where she was introduced to further strenuous coursework in the basic sciences, human diagnostics, clinical sciences, and chiropractic practice. Dr. Darin excelled in all of her national board certification examinations for chiropractic and physiotherapy.During school Dr. Darin was active in weekend classes, and post-graduate classes. Dr. Darin is also certified in scoliosis care and diagnosis; the International Scoliosis Research Foundation issues this certificate. Dr. Darin attained academic achievement recognition by the Dean of Academics, and clinical excellence award from Logan College, as well as several other awards that recognized her academic excellence, and dedication to the profession.
