Meet Mariah Wagner, Physician Assistant (PA-C)
A Path Toward Purpose
Mariah’s interest in medicine began during college, where she explored different specialties through volunteer and shadowing opportunities. It was while working at the VA that she realized the physician assistant profession was the right fit.
“I wanted autonomy to practice medicine in whatever field I chose, but I didn’t know if I wanted to commit the time to become a medical doctor. Having a work/home life balance is so important to me, and I knew this profession would give me that as well as financial stability.”
Mariah’s clinical rotations deepened her passion for sports medicine, leading to her first position in orthopedic surgery. Over time, she’s expanded her scope to provide a range of services that support patients’ health and well-being.
